What is the provider approval process?

Our provider approval process takes 1-3 business days for most cases. We will email you regarding your provider's approval and we will email your provider with instructions for getting set up. 

We screen providers for the following qualifications:

• Providers must live outside of your home. 
• Providers cannot be a spouse or co-parent.
• Providers must be at least 16 years-old.
• Providers cannot be a current full time employee of your family such as full-time nannies and providers who work regular hours with your family.
• Providers cannot be tutors or teachers who's primary role is to support your child's academics as this is not backup care.
• The same provider cannot be uploaded multiple times. 

We do not run any social media or background checks. Any safety and quality screenings should be run directly by you. We can give you a few pointers on resources to run screenings if you email us hello@helpr-app.com.
