Who can I use my benefit for?
Employees can use their benefits for a family member of which they are a primary caregiver, or responsible for contributing to their care. As a primary caregiver, you are primarily responsible for the care of that family member.
Your benefits provide coverage for a variety of family types and can include but are not limited to:
- A family member who lives in/outside of your home that you are responsible for contributing to their care, and may consider a dependent.
- A stepchild who lives in your home and you are the primary caregiver.
- Grandchildren that live with you and you are the primary caregiver.
- A foster child who lives in your home and you are the primary caregiver.
If you're unsure if the benefit applies to your situation, reach out to us at support@hellohelpr.com.
